Bike tire prices are way up this year

Ordered some new Michelin Commander 3's for my bike, last years price for 2 was $550. This years price is $800. Managed to find front and rear at local dealer at last years price(better than fortnine). Options for other rear tires to fit my bike were hard to find. 09 Royal Star Venture has a 15" rear rim. Got over 28,000 km on Michelin 2's with about 70% of that riding 2up. Hope the 3's last the same.

If you need tires this year, might want to start looking now.

Must have been you that posted this on the Ridin' Alberta page the other day? I got lucky I guess. Just ordered a set of Metzeler ME888 on friday, Fortnine had them in stock. Konquer shows them as backordered.

Last time I bought tires was in July '19, since then fronts went up by $22.24 (now $193.99) and rears went up $24.62 (now $203.99). I've heard the Nascar sized rear bike tires have gone up to ridiculous prices if you can even find them.

Got notices from all the warehouses we deal with, that all tires have gone up, anywhere from 15 -30%. Bike, atv, car, truck and hd trucks… they also said more increases could happen by summer

i needed tires for my Honda 250 rebel.. oddball 15 in size. local shops were over $300 found one on ebay for $110 free delivery..found tires for my latest bikes from Revco.ca
