I would like to tell everyone how the guys at Spindrift Power Sports helped us out on Saturday. We were on our first mountain ride of the year and went to Belle MT. at McBride because we had two new riders with us. As the day progressed, one of the first timers managed to ride down a chute with a large number of trees at the bottom and was stuck REAL bad. We started digging him out so he was pointed in the right direction with the sled. I sent my son back to SPINDRIFT to see if they could send a experienced rider out to ride the sled back out of the chute. Around 6 PM I heard the sweet sound of the sleds that were coming to help. The driver made his way down to us, fired up the sled, ran the track to get it clean and drove out as if he had done that several times before. After we climbed out ourselves they helped us get all our gear put back where it was supposed to be and offered to follow us down to the staging area. Half way down the trail one of our own sleds decided to blow up. So once again they helped by hooking on and pulled the sled the rest of the way down. At the staging area they continued by helping to load sleds and sent us on our way. So I say thanks to everyone involved because they saved our butts more than they needed to. I hope I can pay it forward someday!

Great to hear there are still good people like that out there. I have to say though, I find it rather weird that there are people out there who "wouldn't" do this for a fellow sledder or group of sledders. In my books it's simply the "Right" thing to do...period!

Not the first time Glen has been thanked on Snow and Mud. Whether it was pulling parts off his own sled to fix someone up for riding the next day or repairing damaged sleds after hours he certainly seems to go the extra mile. Just another one of a number of people in the Robson Valley that appreciate the sledders and do almost anything to make their stay there a positive experience.

That is awsome, warm up your truck, find your gear, drive to the hill, unload, ride up to where they are stuck, help them climb the schute, and then do it all over again for a perfect stranger. I can't think of many people who would do that. Awsome!! is what I have to say.

I was the "other" rookie driver in the field that day... Unfortunately lost grip of sled and ended up blowing knee out on landing.... Making me totally useless in the whole recovery deal... Without Spindrift I think we would have been leaving the two sleds on the hill overnight at the very LEAST!!!!!! Props to them again and thanks!!!!

Thanks. Glad we could help.. Under the circumstances that was the least we could do. I was amazed that you were able to ride down the mtn with a pretty well toast knee. How is your knee healing up?
