Some Natives are not happy. If they would put Hunter Biden on their tribal councils and pay him a big wage, it ought to get the ball rolling again.

From Epoch Times digital subscription.

A Native American tribe called on the Biden administration to “immediately amend” a White House executive order “to provide an exception for energy permits and approvals on Indian lands.”
“The Ute Indian Tribe and other energy-producing tribes rely on energy development to fund our governments and provide services to our members,” the Ute Indian Tribe said in a letter to Acting Secretary of the Interior Scott de la Vega last week. “Your order is a direct attack on our economy, sovereignty, and our right to self-determination. Indian lands are not federal public lands.
“Any action on our lands and interests can only be taken after effective tribal consultation.”
One of Biden’s orders requires the agency to “conduct a review of the monument boundaries and conditions of the Grand Staircase-Escalante, Bears Ears, Northeast Canyons, and Seamounts Marine National Monuments” and will be done “in consultation with other agencies and Tribal governments, to determine whether restoration of the monument boundaries and conditions would be appropriate,” according to a statement from the Interior Department on Jan. 21,
The Epoch Times has reached out to the agency for comment.
The Ute tribal lands produce about 45,000 barrels of crude oil per day in the Uintah Basin, along with about 900 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, according to a document the tribe filed with the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 2017, Reuters reported.
The tribe added that the order was issued “in violation [of] our government-to-government relationship,” as well as of previous federal directives about coordinating with Native American tribal governments.
The Jan. 20 executive order suspended the authority of Interior Department offices to issue new fossil fuel permits and leases—a move that could be a first step in delivering on Biden’s campaign promise to ban all new federal drilling permits.
“The Order does not impact existing ongoing operations under valid leases and does not preclude the issuance of leases, permits, and other authorizations by those specified. In addition, any actions necessary in the event of an incident that might pose a threat to human health, welfare, or safety will continue,” the Interior Department said in the statement.
Other Native American tribes—including the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation in North Dakota—are also big producers of oil and gas and might push back against the order.
Some GOP lawmakers, meanwhile, said the move to suspend oil and natural gas drilling will imperil tens of thousands of American jobs and raise energy prices for U.S. families.
Reuters contributed to this report.

He may still be in power. Buddy sent me a video of Biden signing executive orders and it looks like no ink on paper but just signing movements. Maybe Joe is a hologram?:rolling:

Ran threw websites on xl progress and it seams on Cdn side we are hard into, remember a buddy to the north of me just had a pipeline yard build in a field as it works south

Little copy and paste from one site..

“””””But the us seams to be held up again in courts where permits have been pulled, no progress since July other than pumping stns

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to let construction start on TC Energy Corp.’s Keystone XL oil-sands pipeline, rejecting a bid by President Trump’s administration to jump-start the long-delayed project.

The justices, without explanation or noted dissent, left in force part of a federal court order that blocks use of a key federal permit. Although the justices cleared the way for other oil-and-gas pipeline construction projects to use the permit, they refused to do so for Keystone XL.
The rebuff means almost all Keystone XL construction is delayed until 2021, according to court papers filed by TC Energy. The company told the high court that lifting the order probably would have let construction start by August on the pipeline, which would carry more crude than some OPEC members produce.”””

Finished off watching the “Yellowstone” series last night on prime tv..

a cowboy drama series with everyone wanting one mans land claim of a huge land claim handed down threw generations, from towns, condos to airports/ ski hills waiting to be built

I spend a lot of time in upper Montana, and do see some similarities in the show, but it sure makes you think how politics plays such a huge role in there decisions, and the power of their reservations/land owner control, not sure I would want to live there over where we live here..

As good as some say guns are there and 1st amendment right, it also seems to be involved in the last decision they make

Just cant imagine all the BS a pipeline of 50’ wide would cause and all involved with greenies to gov

Berkshire Hathaway aka Warren Buffet. Democrats largest donor.
Ken, Berkshire Hathaway bought one of our best customers a few years back. They have lots of pipelines and petroleum processing right here Alberta. He has a reputation for leaving thing run the way they are. So I can't help but think Mr Buffet must focus on profit not politics. I don't know anything about any of his other activities but they have been good to work for in the energy sector right here in Alberta and BC.

Hmmm, I wonder if he is using his money to persuade politics to choke off our oil to the point where he/they can scoop everything up dirt cheap and then bam, lets build a pipe line and all his entities that he bought for pennies on the dollar are now worth waaaaay more.

Spit balling here but i would never rule it out

I was told by a person that claims to know, that subsequent to Trump giving presidential approval on his first day in office That not one piece of pipe went in the ground over the past four years. Is that true? It seems like all it takes to stop a pipeline is two Natives and a campfire or if they can prove/claim they had a campfire there once. It's bordering on ridiculous the pipeline could have been finished in four years, a lot of it has been completed for years.

Lots of footage of the pipeline being built Keith. Its actually built from one side of the border to the other. I think your guy is misinformed. If nothing was built why would they be laying off all the workers? If they weren't working why would they pay them?

Oh I know he does. I still find it crazy that our main source to ship oil is 19th century technology. I'm just curious what his end game is. Rail ways can only transport so much before they are so backed up and no one can move north or south.

As usual, you understood wrong and have extreme difficulty in articulating it in a sensible, coherent and grammatically correct manner. Keep up the shoddy work!

Can you believe Biden allowing transgender men to compete in women's sports? They have a lady talking about this on Tucker Carlson. She said that right now there are over 300 teenage high school boys in the US that are faster sprinters than the fastest female sprinter, a woman who has won more Olympic medals than Usain Bolt. Her world record time in the 400 meter can be beaten by all those guys. Sad how genderism is getting in the way of sports now.

Honestly, I think it's awesome. I think it's the perfect way for the left to accelerate its own destruction. Watch how fast the silent majority wakes up
