Who is this clown? Is he a journalist for Fox? Wow this guy would never influence anyone. He is simply pandering to the far right wing, it's a business decision by the fox board of directors to capitalize on the current sentiment prevalent among their viewers. This video by any reasonable measure could never be construed as a news report. The guy in the video clearly believes what he is saying, but he is also clearly an amateur that has better thing to look at to the right of the camera which is obvious if you watch the video. I love how everyone bashes the so called far right wing racist republicans. Now they are pulling down statues of people that hated slavery. A lot of white proud boys died fighting to free the slaves. No one ever thanks them for pulling the blacks out of slavery. The democrats fought on the side that had slavery, so the republicans free them, they get blackballed, the democrats fought for it, bought slaves in other countries that were sold by their own people, and they are the party that is great. I'm so sick of hearing this gross term the media has made called white proud boys....

This tread would not exist without Fred. I like his posts and the vinacilar he uses in his writing, they are original and thoughtful. His posts are closer to the centre than the left. If I'm a National Guard member I'm happy my home state is Republican. They were called home this morning to home instead of living and sleeping on a cement floor in 38 degree F weather with insufficient bathroom facilities. Its a big story in the US right now on both sides of the political stripe. Even Jill Biden brought out a basket of candy for them and took some photo's with them for optics apologizing. Here is a piece of candy and sorry we made you sleep on cement in cold weather when we had no more use for you. A basket of candy for 25,000 troops....

The problem is Keith Brown has a valid point. There can't be anything that resembles a reasonable discussion on politics on this forum anymore. Go back a few years and look through some of the political threads, a lot more of the members contributed, today we have the same couple dozen members that overtake every political thread and repeatedly flog, without any sense of humility, any other member that dare disagree with them. Some might even say in an effort to silence a view they don't agree with.
Out of the thousands of active members on this site it is highly unlikely that all share the same views as the majority of the posts in this thread. It is however highly likely these members avoid these threads, and maybe even the forum itself because of the sh!tstorm they create.
