ive been debating this for a while, i really like to have as much free movement as possible, just need to find a pant that laches onto my boots with hooks, this last year every time i stepped into the deep snow my pant came up to my knees. FAIL.

Bibs man!! If yur kidneys are cold, yur cold through and through. You can always leave the bib unzipped, but if you don't have a bib.....no option.

I have some ski-doo brand bibs that are pant height in the front, and bib height up the back - best of both worlds. There is a short zipper and quick adjust belt piece on the front with suspenders. They have been working quite well for a few years now, not restrictive, and never any snow down the back.

Duct tape the liner to boots. Most of our group has been doing this for years, I just started last year. Rookie mistake is duct tape on outside of boot cuffs. I should have bought the black duct tape!!!

I wish more bibs were like that. I have a very long back, and even a tall jacket fits me like a bomber. I've thought about modifying a set of pants with a piece of material between between the suspenders.
