They have closed their doors! They have a $2000 deposit of mine and are no where to be found. Anyone else interested in combining forces to get a lawyer send me a PM. By the way Polaris Canada is no help at all. All they could say is, find the owner: who has left town, THANKS ANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just by there the other day and there was a sled behind the fence and a truck parked there but I thought it looked eerily quiet there. Kinda expected to see people lined up around the corner putting deposits on new Pro's.....:dunno: I know lots of people in High River. I'll see what I can dig up tomorrow.:phone:

Was the deposit for a new sled Todd? Polaris Canada may honor it or the required $500 anyway for the snocheck. I know that BRP did for all the Renfrew Sports snocheckers way back in the day when they pulled the pin. They will then find you a dealer to consumate the rest of the deal. There is no guarantee for the same price though unfortunately. We had a cost deal thrown at us out of that but as it turned out the customer became one of our best over the years and bought maybe 10 sleds from us after that so it all worked out.

Hi Ken
Funny you replied, I tried to get a hold of you today. The 2g's was a deposit on a 2012 850 touring ATV. I heard the family moved to Lethbridge. At least that is what Ward Tire across the road told me. An employee got the shaft over there as well.

That sucks big time. I am down at the store tomorrow so you missed me by a day. Lol. I will see what I can dig up for you. Maybe he will be a straight shooter and give you back your deposit or at least get you the ATV. Question? Did he ask for that big a deposit or did you offer it to him? If he was the one I'm thinking he has committed fraud. Anyone on here a legal beagle?

If you find them we can probably get enough S&Mers to stand around in a circle with our backs turned so no one sees anything. Just saying.

So not only the deposit on the new machine but I purchased a Cornerstone extended warranty on my 2008 X2 ATV in 2008. The long and short is: If you don't use the warranty , after 4 years, you get 100% of your money back. So the 4yrs came due march 28th 2012. We (Andy and I) talked about applying the amount of the warranty refund to the new quad and combining my deposit, I would then come in and pay the rest out. After talking to Cornerstone today I found out they (High River Motorsports) never registered the warranty but they definitely took my $1600 for that. I do have all the paperwork for everything so hopefully after all the BS maybe I might get my $3600 back. LOL

Thanks, any help appreciated. I will call J-P tomorrow. I would love help locating Andy Duffell (owner of High River Motorsports) or Kathy MacGregor (his wife). The High River RCMP also want to talk to him. Constable Marshall is heading this case.

If anyone is looking for another dealer in the area to snowcheck sleds from...Call JC or Dave @ Cycle Works (Foothills) in Okotoks (403)995-1555. Cycle Works is building a new dealership out by Okotoks, and they also recently acquired the former Seitzco Motorsports in Okotoks. JC is the manager there.
