I know at NAPA they have a rubber wheel that goes in a drill and it removes pinstripping and the glue, work wicked awsome.

I find using a Heat Gun works the best. That way you get the glue off with the decal. Good Luck

A heat gun and plastic razor blade.
Then glue gone spray and a good wash with water.

Removed all the decals on the '04 800 summitx and my '06 1000rt with heat gun, then used wd40 or orange glo to clean any sticky glue that never came off with the stickers. Then use good cleaner to clean surfaces afterwards.

If you heat the decals up they often come off quite easily!

We have radiant heat in the shop and when we were removing the decals from my hubbys Crossfire, we left it under the heater in the shop overnight and then took a heat gun to it. They peeled right off in one peice! If you dont have a heat gun, steal the womans blow-dryer!

Heat Gun for sure. Just watch you don't get the decal too hot. If you can keep the right temp the decal will peel off with the greatest of ease. Just enough heat to keep the glue warm. You'll figure it out... Good Luck.

As everybody said. Heat gun, a little patience and some solvent to get the remainder of glue. I also used a plastic scraper.

Thinner on rag, wipe on glue, leave sit for a few seconds then go after it with the plastice scraper. I hated the decals on my sled.

2003 Vert Esc. Candidate for heaviest stickers ever. I also dropped like 30pounds lol.

I don't have a heat gun so used mu old ladies hairdryer - worked great! I would NOT recommend using a razor blade!

After decal was off i used goof off to remove any 'gunk' that was leftover.

took my 10 minutes or so to do my whole sled.

good luck

Again heat gun is the way to go, best Ive found to clean any remaning glue is methal hydrate... (gas line antifreeze) on a rag ..it wont harm the gel coat on the hood and cleans all wax, glue etc right off with no rubbing.
