For those that are looking to upgrade or just to buy a great sled, this might be the best time to buy a new 2016 Summit T3.

154 T3 less than $11,000
163 T3 less than $12,000
174 T3 less than $13,000

These prices are all in, and you might doo better. A buddy just took delivery of a 2016 174 T3 for $12,500.

3 yr warranty SP T3 154" is $12,600 OTD without even looking around.

People still think their 2013 is worth $9000 LMAO

Better check the black and blue book prices.

The trend I'm seeing is there does not seem to be any point in spring checking anymore and paying a premium.
And with prices like that I'm thinking there is something very new and exciting for 2017.

without a doubt the amount of new inventory out there at clearance prices is out there. some people have very good quality used stuff out there but have to rethink there pricing or just drive there existing equipment

An XM will go for 8-9g any day. For one with decent low mileage and a few accessories that's a fair price IMO.

BRP has a $2016 rebate on summit SP models.

16 summit sp with t3 package, 174, 3 year warranty, 13,100 otd.

You won't find a summit X t3 for that price...

Heard they are clearing them out because way over stocked. Also head a big dealer had to send 250 sleds back to brp.

It will be interesting to see how used sled pricing fairs in the next year. Bad economy, great prices on new old stock sleds and the 2017's coming out soon. Every day I peruse kijijij and every day there are about half a dozen or so pages of sled ads being added each day. That's a lot of sleds up or sale in Alberta.

Kind of a perfect storm brewing. Sleds were selling like crazy so they upped production then sales fell off due to economic conditions. BRP hates having leftover sleds on the floor in the fall compared to the other dealers so the deals are smoking right now. Gonna work on the wifey see if I can pick up a 174.

Nice! A friend wrote off a car in the summer, was worth $6k on kijiji and he got $9k. Jackpot! Lol

There's a difference between asking price and actual sale price people.... Hmm $9k for a 3-4 yr old sled with racked up km's and no warranty. Or $1500-2000 more for a brand new 2015-2016... Hey if there's suckers that choose the used one that's good news!

But having a new sled for the first part of the year, and break in before its stupid deep

Is why I would snow check one

Also about the time u get ur new one, snow is on the ground and ur used one is worth more too, rather than buying a sp one now, and getting jack sh!t for ur used one cause it's over half way through the season
