Oh hell I don’t want to try them I want reviews. The lt3’s are the best rated winter tire rn it’s like driving on rails no matter what the conditions are but they are tiny lol.

I have had the worst luck with balancing beads - they get stuck in the valve cores and leak air.

A lot of brands of balancing beads com with a new core that is not effected by the beads

I guess I'm behind the times I've never heard of balance beads , do you intsall them when mounting on rim? I have an old tire machine but no balancer so interested how they work.

You can pour them through the valve stem,which some people have patience for... or what I like to do when putting tires on is get both side walls seated on the bead, then re-brake the outside bead, then push the tire down toward the center of the wheel enough to dump the bag of balance beads in, then reseat the outside bead and your golden.

On some bigger tires a guy will need to balance the wheel/tire first with weights then add beads after.

And ya can't balance a wheel/tire with beads in it.

Mine are mounted on wheels but if there’s a chance I can get a better ride outta my rig id line to try it

I run them in everything from my 14 inch 82 Celica tires to my 22 f250. I would recommend using the counteract brand. They come with the proper valve stems in the bag. Even tires that I have that were balanced with weights I’ll toss a few oz in. Keeps them running smooth even when the rims are full of dirt.

Anyone still running the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's? Do you still like them?

I'm almost due for a new set of tires and I'm having a b!tch of a time finding anything else in a 37x12.5r18. (Don't really want to go to a 13.5 due to running 9" wide rims). They'd be run year round, I don't run dedicated winters on my 1 ton.

Or if someone knew where I could get/order a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 37x11.5r18, I'd even be happy to wait a few months, just want them by the end of October.

Pretty happy with cooper discoverer at3 xlt's. They did pretty good last winter and great in the summer/towing. Havent shown a lick of wear either.

Looking at tires for my 3500 also, have 57k on dura tracs. Still have some miles left in them but want to beat the fall rush.

Totally. I just mean to use them as a "baseline" for price. I do when I need tires and get kal tire, or ok tire, or the dodge dealer to match. Wherever I get the rubber from

I'm leaning towards the Blizzak LT's for this winter. It's a studless tire which usually suggests softer compound, trade off is life & mileage. Heat cycles & age kill them faster, I'm good with that.

I've had it done in the past to Toyo M55's and Goodyear Wrangler MTR's. It will help yes, not equivalent to a dedicated winter tire but definitely noticeable. And no they won't start spitting chunks or wear out prematurely as long as you're mainly on the highway.
