studded Hakapelitas, best tire for the winter for sure. On my third season on the 3500 too!
Getting a set of these for the 1 ton. Have the SUV tire on my work nv200, just like Velcro to the ice and snow.

Best winter tire I have had on my dually

I have to admit, these are not the tires I wanted. I went with them after not being able to get my first choice. Kal Tire talked me into them and I thought they would wear too fast. I was wrong and shocked how good they were, even on snow. Even the studs are lasting more than 1 season and I have never had that before.

What they just all said, studded Haks, 5th season, half the studs missing but still a superb tire, on my 3500 DMax.....

Put the cooper discoveries on, first impressions not impressed.

So taking these off tomorrow and putting on a set of studded Hakapelitas

Haven’t even broke 1000 km on my new F350 and this will be my 3rd set of tires lol

Hope I get it figured out this time

Studded Nokians are the only way to go.

What gets me is people that buy winter specific tires that aren't studded. Its easy to drive in snow, ice is a different matter entirely and studs can literally be a life saver.
When I got my tires (general grabbers) the shop owner said I do so much hwy driving I’d wear out the studs fast…I never really looked into it I just believed him lol

How many kms on bare hwys do you guys put on studded tires?

Most of our kms are on hwy, the studs have rounded off the sharp edges but they are still there and functioning.

This is on my wife's Colorado, so far I haven't put winters on my F350.

I’ve run studded Hakkapelita’s and studded Firestone Winterforce on my SRW 3500 Duramax - both were very good in snow and on ice

Starting to look for my next set of winter tires and wondering what other’s experiences have been for a one ton diesel? I currently have the Toyo CT’s studded and like them in snow but found them just ok on ice. Maybe they just need more syping? Also interested in getting decent longevity. So far I’ve got about 40K km’s on mine. Need a E rated tire. Thanks!
If i could run these on my Truck i would lol!

That was easier than i thought it would be, have a set lined up for tomorrow. Suppose to have less than 100 km on them.
