Watch out at Toby. Hill gets real busy with not much room. Some of the retards that rent from Toby think they are are on a Nascar track. You really got to watch ya don't get run over. The trail up is crowded as well with a lot of inexperienced or zero experience riders. Be careful if you go. I suggest Forrester at Radium. Just watch where you go. There's a creek that wanders all over the place and ya can get wet real easy.
My 2 cents

Try sunpeaks by kamloops we are booked in there from boxingday to new years. The accomadations are 2nd to none. the skihill has tons of stuff to do for kids and adults. plus the best part just a 1min drive up to parking lot 6 and your off sledding in the back country, lots of logging roads going in circles every where, and all of the cutblocks they lead to, plus some alpine area, sunpeaks has the best of both worlds.

2nd that for Sunpeaks. It's also not too far from Crowfoot...maybe an hour. Crowfoot has some great beginner / intermediate play areas. The Anglemont Inn is about 15 minutes from Crowfoot and is a great place to stay as well.
