The Ski-Doo dealer in PG seems to run under the business motto of, we screw everyone royally. They lost the KTM franchise this year as well. I went there to buy a KTM spring of 2019, salesman didn't know a damn thing, so he just made up lies, bought my new KTM elsewhere. Thought I would give them one more chance, so went in the fall of 2019 to talk about a new Doo, walked out disgusted, called another dealer a few hours away, sounded reasonable on the phone, so I stopped and fueled up the pickup, got road tripping snacks, and hit the road. An hour after arriving, the new sled was tied down in the back, and I was heading home.

Not bashing, but last time my sled was at Backus, the clutch was on so tight, I bent the good puller trying to remove it. Had over 250FtLbs trying to get her to pop. SHe pops for me with never a fuss, except when it comes back from them. I put on to 75FtLbs personally. I'm sure they just hit it with an impact. Which is a nono. Also had a bit of a run around for warranty, because I didn't take it to them for "service and inspection" No, I upkeep my sleds to a much higher level of tolerance than factory. But because they had to "take my word" for it that visual inspections were done at 500 and 1000Km.... Cost me extra couple hundred so they could "service the sled" to warranty my worn engine mounts
This is thier go to move, they did the same to me last yr , I paid for a service that it didn't need to get a legit warranty claim. This yr I called about the 2020 flash for my 19 850, wanted 75$, I called Vernon and was free, I've tried hard to let them be my dealer for sled purchase but using tactics to get money out off my wallet ain't kewl with me so perhaps vernon will be my go to. The mech there also ain't to sharp.
When they did my SERVICE, they got the claim for my needed parts. They called me said they were in, I went to get them installed and I ended up doing all of the work myself in thier shop and I guarantee pol paid them the full shop rate for the warranty claim, it was a 2 hr job.

I’ve always been treated well by fps, particularly Shannon in service.

That being said never bought a toy from them
