The last time I went in there my meal didn’t even arrive so I got up and left my table of 9 and walked out leaving them to catch a ride with the rest of the group. Past experiences had me racing back to my place to have an emergency poop before I shat myself.

The last time I was in Mooses, we had about a $300 tab, sober when we arrived, and the waitress was a total beeotch, the old skinny blonde hag, she said we’re closing so you gotta go. It was 10:30, I said well you JUST brought us a fresh round and I have two more Keno games til my card is finished. Buddy said if youre going to act like this maybe customer service isnt for you, I laughed. We paid and left. Not impressed with that sh!ithole and they wont see my wallet in a loooong time.
Ya the blonde hag is bad...the rest are great. Not sure why they keep her cause she chases patrons away.

Thanks for the reply's. Leave tomorrow morning for 5 days out there with 7 sleds so I'm sure we'll get to know the area. No Canadian Brewhouse in town eh? Damn.

Compared to years past, I am disappointed with eating in Siccy. Moose's is over rated and definitely not like it used to be. Servings are small and the menu is so-so. I followed Joholio's advice and tried Brothers. Only went there twice; first and last! Joe Smucks for breakfast is definitely a winner as is the free continental breakfast at the BW. Gramma's/Pappa's (or whatever it is called) had canned peas as a vegetable and that is a no-no in my books and was a reflection on the rest of the meal. The Chinese restaurant was hum-drum and made me wonder. On a positive note, Dutchman's Dairy has the bestest ice cream.

A few year's ago, the Burner was a good place but a DD was required. Don't know what it is like now. For drinks, meeting people, and exciting times, I would think Moose's would be the choice.

Wow - you tried the Chinese restaurant , ur the 1st one that I know of ! Lol

In sicamous I like Joe Schmucks, great breakfasts and very reasonable, almost like home cooking. Great place to stay too, cozy and convenient. We went to moose mulligans for supper as JS was full. The shuttle was good, picked us up then dropped us off after. Food was OK, not where it was about 10 years ago, it wasn't that busy in there either.

No we didn't. Last time we were there was last winter. Actually, this time around we tried mulligan's again and were disappointed again and the second night we got Tim's chilli and took it back to the room. It is good chilli and it is consistent at all Tim's.

But like I said above, Dutchman's has the bestest ice cream of anywhere we've been to.

I have to agree. Dutchman’s ice cream is probably the best I’ve ever had. Brought the wife and kids home a couple of smaller tubs on my last trip.

Food ok but think it's about time for The ol schmucks to invest in some furniture.....your ass goes right thru those chairs.

Ya was not impressed at all in schmucks. Surprised so many people like that place. Mooses was awesome for supper though, zero complaints there!

I've never had any complaints abut any breakfast I've ever had in a Husky House, not sure I'd trust much else there though

We stayed in Sicamous for 5 days in September.
We found the restaurants all fine.
Yes some chairs need replacing.

After Dark Distillery has good apple pie
