Hello .... where is the best boat launch on the lake .... and where can a guy tie up for a picnic without being on someone's property ... can I dock at the marina and walk to get lunch , I usually go to the Brazeau because of its endless shorelines.... but have no time , I keep the boat in Tomahawk , so that make Wabamun a lot closer.... thanks

Everyone I know uses the provincial park but that's on the wrong end of the lake for you. There must be a launch or two at your end of the lake. When everyone is done boating today they will come on here and give you good free advice.

The one in town is pretty good, seeing how your boat is up the road

I just heard today that the one in town is the best, only drawback is that it's $ 15.00 to launch / park. We've boated past it a few times, but I've never launched there myself, so I can't confirm the $$ for the parking, maybe somebody else will chime in to confirm this

Seba beach did some work to theirs for this yer looks a lot better. Seem some big boats going in and out this year. Picnic areas would be hard to find a good one I think but somebody surely has a spot or two they could disclose

You can't park at marina but can dock at town dock in wabamun and go for lunch if you wanted to without having to pay

The provincial is the best.... Hands down.... Free parking free launch. Lots of places to hit shallows and anchor for a lunch..... I'm not gunna give away our sandy spot but lots of places to go..... If you don't know the lake stay away from the plant in the south side.... There are shallows over there that will eat your leg if you don't know the good way in and out

Crap! I better buy a lottery ticket! The lake was pretty rough today, and We were in that area the whole day, as it wasn't too bad in there...guess that's why there weren't any boats crowding us. :)
The shallowest we saw was about 5'
thanks for the heads up!
