Renshaw, nice trail in. Lots of room around the cabin and some small hills to practice on.

I always thought Belle or Lucile but the Ride in to Renshaw is beautiful. To the north and east of the Renshaw cabin is relatively easy. If you follow someone or see the path over sadle it opens up to another nice area. Have fun

Advising a beginner into the saddle when the slopes are loaded is likely not a good idea!

Not advising him. Just saying if there are others going over and they feel comfortable they could do it.

We used to say Belle as well but I don’t think so anymore. All of belle is slightly slanted off axis which makes navigating around the area difficult for beginners. I would say Renshaw because the nice trail in and lots of beginner terrain right around the cabin, and the black water area is also a great learning spot in the meadows and around the creeks.

Scenery and easy area to ride at the top I vote Renshaw, even going into Wolverine is pretty easy, side hill to get to saddle is a bit much for beginners but the areas around cabin and wolverine are more that enough area to keep a rookie busy all day.
.....two days.

The whoops on the way out can suck, just head down by 3PM before it gets real bad on a busy day.
Was always my kids favorite ride in, couple stops for some pictures.......
