I have little experince with the 600 CC line of MTN snowmobiles and was wondering what would be the best brand to go with as a starter sled. My GF wants to get into the sport but i currently have a Supercharged Apex and Turboed Nytro not really the best starter sleds so was looking into getting ride of the Apex for starter sled.

Basically I am not sure what to go with M6, Summit 600 or a RMK 600 as i know no one that runs any of these sleds. Probably just going to a 800 would make the most sense but i think it would be easier for her to run as well every pound less is one less pound i have to dig out.

Any input would be appreciated as well if anyone is interested in possible trade of sort I currently have a 2006 Apex with a MPI stage 1 supercharger on it with i believe around 1500 miles. Anyhow thanks for any input

Regards

get a new polaris pro 600, she will love it! there is a bad rap on the 800's but the 600's are rock solid and the new chassis is awesome

ya I agree with ya. I rode 2011 Polaris rmk 600 In the mountains for one weekend. So it had the IQ chassis. Rock solid and had a supprising amount of torque for a 600. It was pretty sweet little sled, I like my 800 more though lol. Make sure that you get the 155. Good luck on whatever you get

I would get her one with EFI, then it's easier starting and if she tips it on the side it won't flood. I got my girlfriend a M7 for her first sled. You can pick those up for cheap and they work really good.

ya EFI is quite slick and nice to have. Electric start may also help?

This will sound crazy...but I would get her one of those new Skidoo Tundra extremes. Liquid cooled 600 e-Tec, 154 track with a decent paddle, lower gearing, way tougher chassis than an XP so it won't be wrote off on the first tree she hits, and best of all it will hold it's value much better than a pure sport sled.

You may want to look @ an 800 instead of a 6. Probably only a few pounds difference and not much $
