Belt Conditioning

I never have time to mess with conditioning belts and when I did I always forgot next year what belt was what.

I do scrub the belt when I clean the clutches.

Looking frwd to see what everybody does for conditioning/break in.

little scotch brite action on the sides, hot soapy water wash, vary rpm on trail ride up and pin it, repeat with spare and good to go.

wash with soapy water and then use it on the trail up before you start abusing it. Then abuse it.

On my current belt I ran it backwards for a while. Seemed to condition well that way. Not that running it backwards was intentional. Gotta remember to look next time.

Sounds like me went to my sled at home after being in Valemount to pull clutch off and add weight, taking the belt off and notice opps it was on backwards lol worked fine as far as i know.
