I was in Jasper last weekend for a wedding. Decided to go for a nice drive to check out some views up the road to the ski hill.

I lived in jasper for 6 months and only saw 1 bear, and it was pretty far away.

Up this road, as were driving, we see 10 feet from the car a mother and 2 cubs. Amazing to see up close.

I believe it!! I give them lots of room to roam.... but don't we live in a great area!!! Wild life in our back yards!!!

we have one fox that comes into town - stops to make sure no cars are coming then crosses the main hwy then runs/walks on the sidewalk
