helppppp please....i just bought the gio, 125 rebel t2 quad, and i want to know, why it has chewed though 2 sets of bearings with in 4 hrs riding time, as well as the chain snapping, and cracks around the battery casing, dents in the plastics and the kill switch not being wired properly

overlooking everything, my main concern is that it is eating bearings, it is totally un-ridable at this point.......what am i to do with it, is there some fix for this problem?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Try Gateway Motorsports 780-439-5254 Only shop I have seen that repairs these. I am pretty sure they replace the bearings with aftermarket ones not the chinese originals.

I bought the kids a Gio 110 last year and the best advice I can give you, once its fixed, sell it. Sorry, I know it doesn't help you now and like me, I'm sure you thought it was a great idea at the time but it will continue to be a major head ace.

the gio was bought as a learning quad for my 6 yr old, its intent was for him to learn before spending a fortune on something else, only to have him crash it...several times im sure

A far as the chain snapping, sit on the quad yourself or get a larger person to sit on it and watch the chain tension. On Some mini quads and even full sized ones the chain gets tight when the suspension is pushed down. So if the chain is tight with no one riding it then someone even a little kid takes it for a ride and jumps it or whatever sh!t could hit the fan.

Broke a few chains like this on old bikes.

best advice has already been given, get rid of the junk, find a smaller used japanese quad. you will just keep putting money into this POS, and will end up paying way more in the end. sell it now. do yourself and your kid a favour.

huh we have a 110 geo hummer and it been through 2 kids now.....

the only thing is having to set the carb once and a while [ for temp and altitude ] , and the chain not having a tensioner.. i fixed that and put one from a new chev truck [ a/c belt one cause it small and bols in ].....

so ya its been a real good quad in my mind.... the engine runs now but at the a=end of last year the boy hit a huge stump with the chain [ jamed it ] and now there is something inside the trans stuck..... knocked him off the quad he hit it so hard... but she still runs

yup get rid of it. I own a gio 110 quad POS. Better off buying a 20 year old honda for dirt cheap.
