Here's a link to all products that Coca Cola owns.

I'll be honest i perfer coke over pepsi and most of these products too.
Would be hard for me to drop Coke.

Hats off to you for doing it.

https://www.coca-cola.ca/brands

I looked at the brands and there isn't one on there that I actually buy, other than Coca-Cola. That will be a product in the past going forward. I will admit that Rum and Coke sounds better than Pepsi and Coke but that is the way it will be. I would like to say that if I were an employee at Coca-Cola, I would find a new employer but that may be difficult for many people.

Not Sure
There is lots of this going on right now Doug. Buddy Ron had to watch black sensitivity training where he works every Thursday for 2 months and an hour long each session. He told me he wasn't racist before but thinks he may be now after watching that crap for 2 months.
Years ago we had to take "aboriginal awareness training" Thought it would be interesting since I grew up and worked with native guys and the instructors last name was Tailfeathers. You know, thought we may learn something. Guys shows up and he is white dude. After a few hours I stepped out to use the can (we were at a local hotel) and I see one of our operators sitting in the lounge. He is a member of the Blood Tribe and lives on the Blood reservation. Asked him why he left the class and he said " if I have to listen to that SOB tell me what an indian is one more time I will knock him out" lol

switch it up to Bumbu Rum and you can drink it straight on the Rocks. Very smooth.

Don’t believe everything you read on the internet man...

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/coca-cola-try-to-be-less-white/

I've learned to be very careful with using snopes - they are like facebook fact checkers the information may be factual or mostly factual, and the point of the post/article/opinion could be spot on but if there is any exaggeration of fact or inaccuracy they will deem the whole piece to be untrue.

Case and point..... In your link they state that "employees were not forced to take the training" and that "there is no plan to print the slogan on the can".... That said They are still providing employee training that includes this messaging - even includes instructions on how to be less white....

Search engine scrubbers are really good though, if you type in coke there is no suggestion of the controversy or autofill for "be less white" and when you do type it in the snopes article sting it's false is atop the list.

The only reason Coke is being singled out here is because they are said to have been forcing employees to take the training, it was actually a 3rd party training course offered through Linedin - if the people at Coke making the decisions had taken the training themselves prior to instructing HR to make it a mandatory course one would hope that they would have caught it. I'd bet that the senior/executive team at Coke is less diverse than their general workforce.

Another example of “it’s just a right wing conspiracy theory” then the real truth comes out.

Sale items booked way in advance so planned before this came out. Pepsi will probably be on sale next week. Flops back and forth between the two brands almost every week depending on retailer

I doubt this "controversy" will impact their sales at all.... hell as Canadians we should all be buying French's ketchup instead of Heinze because French's bought up the facility and continue to buy local ingredients abandoned by Heinze when they shut their Canadian operations.... but I bet most Canadians still buy Heinze.

Not my family. Frenchs is the only thing in our fridges.
