Here in gp we pretty much have to turn the other cheek. Many blue and white plates here. No need to treat our fellow Canadians bad unless they voted Trudeau!!!!

Ha.. half the guys at my work south of GP have blue and white plates as well all good dudes some from the north some from the south.

The protest was a joke. We drove by as we were going to put a critter cam out.. They were standing on the center line as well as on the sides. The RCMP were just down the road watching everything. I had my window down but they basically slowed the traffic down and that;s it
Just heard there is a planned protest on Saturday on the koocanusa by Cutt's campsite. The main bitch is pissed that there are permanent campsites but the rest of the kooc is closed. It could turn ugly real quick. They say it's not about Alberta people coming into BC

Sounds like a peaceful protest. That's the way they're supposed to be. :D

Just got back from BC and they had a new tactic. Rebuild all the bridges at the same time so you get so frustrated you will go home. I know it is all for the better in the long run but the line-ups suck.

Funny how the young Alberta teens who were caught stealing cars and dragged a dog 3 blocks in Windermere last week didn't make the news....

There is bad **** happening all over.

Yes there is bad stuff happening all over, but this thread is about people getting their stuff wrecked in BC because of the colour of their license plate. Almost sounds like you are condoning this kind of behaviour.

I just got back from a week in bc. Saw more red plates than blue in many areas, never had a spec of trouble, and met a couple super good guys with blue plates who camped next to us, introduced themselves, shook my hand and offered me a cold beer.
Seems the aggressive ones are either few and far between or really far west. As far as I can tell bc locals are still just as great as ever

We're in Sparwood right now and have to say we have been treated great. Ran into a couple guys today while on an old logging road that had grown up in the area and told us a great spot to go for scenery and wildlife. We saw lots of both including a mother grizly and her 3 cubs up close. Exactly the kind of stuff we were looking for.
