Not hard to figure out what an NDP government does....unless your plain stupid. We had 2 terms of them, you in Alberta are a little smarter you only needed 1 term....maybe.

MAYBE....is a scary word.......
Frankly, I'm a bit worried that the voters in Alberta will elect her (Rachel) for a second term.....
She is currently "beating her chest and pounding her fists" in her perceived image of standing up and fighting for Alberta with this pipeline...(didn't do **** all to stand up for all the unemployed workers but people tend to forget). There are less than 2 years to go and by that time the Alberta economy will likely be recovered or on its way to recovery and she will stand up and say "look what the NDP did for Alberta....we got the pipeline(s) approved, our economy is firing on all cylinders, we brought you new schools, new hospital(s)...we are actively fixing the highways and infrastructure.....blah, blah, etc , etc....."
I hope that the Alberta voters see through the bull**** and do not allow them in for a second term.....but the momentum (perceived momentum) is starting to flow in her favour at the moment
Sorry for the rant....this is a BC thread
I unfortunately don't agree with this either, many of those that don't vote are also so poorly informed they wouldn't make a wise choice if forced to vote.
100% agree! Should make it a law everyone has to vote.
I have a couple colleagues out of Montana who have been bugging me for a job to get away from the US / Trump and here we have Canadians wanting the opposite. Reminds me of cowboy boots. When I lived in Europe N.American boots were considered the best but back in the '80's Italian boots were considered the best in N.America. LOL.

Nope. I'll never support anything that tramples on freedom of choice like that. Totally un-democratic. Ya, I know. We live under a constitutional monarchy, not a democracy. Same argument applies.

Be interesting if this happens, guess I better make sure my tidy tank is full
Would love to see that happen but you would need a set of balls to set that in motion.
Please don't do it to all BC'ers. Beaver and Horgy don't represent all of us...Honestly I think it should happen, once people run out of gas there will be calling for either a immediate election or those two morons will have their backs against the wall when negotiating takes place. I'm all for it.
Natural gas won't be effected but the oil would make a huge impact, although that could back fire and turn into a all out trade war throughout the province, roll the dice and see what happens I say.

I feel sorry for all the people in BC that live everywhere but the lower mainland. Time and again the government that gets elected there is so focused on Vancouver that they don't pay any attention to the rest of the province. This green/NDP alliance that's forming now is going to be even worse.
