When you say radio cord goes over left shoulder I hope you mean under left shoulder strap of your avy pack. Otherwise when your pack goes off that cord will be in the way.Opposite of Avi bag trigger.
Trigger for me is on my throttle arm, so I grab the trigger with my left arm.
Radio cord comes over my left shoulder and then I clip my mike to the cross strap, it positions the mic right below my mouth for easy access.
Yes it does, but bag goes off with so much force it wouldn't matter imo. When you say radio cord goes over left shoulder I hope you mean under left shoulder strap of your avy pack. Otherwise when your pack goes off that cord will be in the way.

It's the same in both, unlike mine from uThat is correct. But he may be displaying the frequency in channel mode instead of name. Menu 21 (Channel A) and menu 22 )(channel B) you can set it as either channel number, channel name or channel frequency.
Just sent you an email Ray.
I realize this thread was started last year, but are these radios still something you have available?
