The BC Link comes with preset channels from the factory:
A Channel 1 privacy code off
B Channel 5 privacy code 10
C Channel 4 privacy code 20
D Channel 8 privacy code 10
E Channel 9 privacy code 11
F Channel 20 privacy code off

Not sure why BCA like the "privacy code" as there is no privacy about them and if everyone is on the same code then there is even less of a point of using them. Anyway it is hard to change how people do things so I will be adding these to the channels I program

In them hills.
If you are talking about Rec/Trans - Digital Coded Squelch yes they are. I have them programmed for all the 35 RR channels and the Green, Blue, Brown, Yellow Gray and Black repeaters.
How did you handle the 9 different tones?
Or just left them off?

Lots of radio out there. What my cost for the whip antenna is more than the cost of the radio you just bought. Same for the remote mic I sell. You get what you pay for! Just so you know Jay and I are buddies.

Was offered the big mic for $20 but no need for it sledding, the little mic on the clip for your coat is plenty and that antenna is way to long to be considered portable, would barely fit in my av pack, would have to leave it stick out the zipper or fold it up, im still getting 15 km range in a hilly very densely treed area with regular antenna, not scratchy, if im more than that away from my riding group they have left me up top and they are in the parking lot lol

The rhinos use a FRS and GMRS frequencies like the BC Link and any other store bought walkie talkie. Yes the Baofeng radios can be programed to communicate with Rhinos.

I'm happy with mine so far. Had it out for two rides, on all day, and still showing full charge. It also came in handy sitting on the highway due to an accident, could listen to the truckers on Ladd1.

Like mine so far. Was able to get a hold of buddies near Caribou Bowl from the Allen parking lot. Clear as day.

I have had a couple of guys do a factory reset (menu 41) on their radio's. If you do that it will wipe out the channels I programed in. You can manually re enter them but it will take a while and easy to make mistakes or you can mail me back just the radio with no battery in a padded envelope and I can reprogram it and mail it back. Except when changing channels you should always lock the keypad. To do so press and hold the # key untill the radio says lock. Press again and hold until it say unlock to unlock!
