Never seen a cat burn down before? WTF I though you rode lots? LIAR!
they typically dont burn and are usually pretty reliable. just fail at being mountain sleds.

Come on now guys... Its getting pretty hard to make sleds so different now-a-days.... I mean... I think they gave it an honest shot at being original this year!
I dunno what the fuss is about.... It's not like cat took a rev chasis, stripped everything out of it, slapped an 800ho engine in it, and a cat sticker, and shot it out the production line. I said the same thing when I got on my new proclimb, almost felt like a rev to an extent, but still...it's not. In no way. Maybe cat couldn't out-engineer brP, maybe they did use some of brps "ideas", or similar to it, who cares. Cat still has the best power plant on the market. Of course all the doo guys are gonna come out of the woodwork on this one and I'm sure us cat guys won't hear the end of it. I can see this thread getting locked out before this night is over lol...

from a couple articles I have read, cat has infringed on BRP patents as far back as 2007. BRP is claiming cat has used technology closely mimicking as many as 5 BRP patents, 4 frame design and the rider positioning patent. this sounds like more than something that can be settled with a simple technology exchange, like back in '01 when 'doo infringed on polaris' rear arm coupling patent and agreed to let poo use RER.....looks like only flatland sleds effected.
pretty typical. get 5 years behind..play catchup for 4 years. year 5 still cant do it so just copy 4 year old technology! then it starts all over again.
This is too funny !! Ya, it was innovative when BRP got sued for copying Simmons skis and for copying Poo's rear suspension (at least us Poo boys got electronic reverse out of that settlement). What goes around, comes around !!

A sled worth riding? There will be a cash settelment outside the court room.Discussion between the two and an agreement to exchange some
R&D with each other.Just like GM and Chrylser have,GM and Honda, etc.....No big deal.I'm sure Actic Cat has something BRP
would like to have.
seems like the other way around.....lol. cat must have thought a 'doo must be worth riding if cat decided to build a green XP. I can't think of anything cat has that 'doo would want except Tucker Hibbert.....hmmmm.....A sled worth riding?

What goes around, comes around !! Come to think of it, ETECH wasn't even a BRP innovation. They got that by buying OMC. Good thing, otherwise they likely would've copied that as well. LMFAO !!!!

all it takes it for cat to have something that is exactly the same measurment or angle as what brp has on the patent and they are in the wrong ... if cat would have changed everything just enough there would be no issue but clearly something is to close to what the doo has
