Bad Babysitter

Our daughter is at grandma's, and in her absence, Mom was asked to look after her (2) budgies. After a few days she thought it a good idea to clean the cage. So, she is vacuuming out the bottom, and shloop, one of the birds gets sucked up the hose.
Panic sets in, and she momentarily forgets how to shut off the vacuum. She regains her senses, hits the off switch, and is able to grab one little leg that is sticking out of the end of the hose.
He has survived his brush with death, but at this point refuses to sing. Perhaps the gentle sound of the vacuum will encourage him to sing again.

Oh...I am now in charge of all bird babysitting duties

That sure did make a shitty day a little bit brighter.....OK really i was roflmao I do know that the little bird wouldn't have survived my wifes vaccum. I imagine that the sight of the vaccum or grandma would probably get the bird to sing again. haha

NOW THAT WAS FUNNY..... SORRY, BUT DAM THAT WAS FUNNY.... LIKE EVERYONE SAID, KINDA BRIGHTENS UP A FRIDAY THATS DRAGGING ON WAY TOO LONG!!!

MY BROTHER DID SOMETHING SIMILAR WHEN WE WERE KIDS. HE WAS CLEANING SHAVINGS OUT HIS GERBIL CAGE WITH AN OLD UPRIGHT VACUUM, AND IT SUCKED ONE OF THEM IN BY MISTAKE????.... GOT THE GERBIL OUT OF THE VACUUM BAG, BUT IT SURE WAS FILTHY/DUSTY AFTER THAT..... POOR LITTLE CRITTER NEVER WAS THE SAME. MAN DID I LMAO!!!
