I need a new back pack. I have a small BCA one and it is way too small. Without going to an airbag pack, what is everyone else using and what size?

The new klim krew pak is very nice. i used the klim nac pak last season and i will be getting one of the new krew pac's as it is just a bit bigger and has all the stuff to hold your avvy gear and such and good storage without being huge and bulky. We will also be selling them at our shop here in Mcbride as we are the KLIM dealer in the area.

I'm not sure but i'd guess around 20-25 litres i think. And we will also have a full supply of BCA avvy gear again this winter.

Dakine Poacher is 25-30L I think. I have been using them for 10 years and this last one is still mint after 3 years.

I bought an OGIO vest last year and I will never go back. Way more comfortable after a full day as the weight is balanced on your body. I can fit everything I used to put in my backpack and have room to spare.

Great thread! Look forward to more suggestions, as I am looking for a pack for myself too.

I would go with Dakine. I have 4 Dakine backpacks of all different sizes and they work awesome. Very durable packs.

X2 AGREED! I had the poacher, unbelievable pack, fits like no other, lots of room.
Well thought out pockets and storage. I wish they made one an avy bag edition.

Definitely the klim pack is the best pack I have ever had for under $150. Had an SOS pack and had three dakine packs and they were alright but this new crew pack by klim is awesome:d
