Well I bought that 580 that tripster posted. Trying to figure out the logistics of paying for it and getting it back to Creston. Have a backhaul lined up for a decent price but the guy cant do it for a week or two. Also looking for suggestions on a place to stick it in the meantime. Dont really want to wire the guy money and not have some kind of possession of the unit. Its on the border of langley and surrey.

Two stick hoe controls?

Just thought I would give an update on this. Tripster......I owe you a bottle of whiskey! We bought that hoe, put around 250 hours on it, and then sold it for 32500. Was a great unit. Didnt get attached to it like people said I would though. Alot of guys said you may plan on selling it but you wont be able to. I actually didnt really like it. Found the front bucket really awkward and hard to use. Sure dug nice though. I think a guy just gets spoiled using a skidsteer though.

I prefer a good skidsteer & midi excavator to a backhoe ....
A backhoe is alright at everything , but not great at any one thing ...
but they are handy .

I have the luxury of owning both skid steer and backhoe. Each has their place. I always to try to use the skid steer first.... easier to maneuver for sure. But I have soft spot for the backhoe. Not much you can't do
