i had one. Awesome sled. the suspension cant be beat in any of the models its even better than the freeride. If you ride mostly off trail in alberta with the occasional trip to the mountains its probably the best choice. If you spend more time in the mountains than riding around home i would consider the freeride with the 2.5" track. The wide boards/wide front stance and lack of T motion on the XRS make it more challenging to handle in the back country compared to the freeride. Mine came with the low elevation clutch calibration by accident and that calibration does not work at all in the mountains so you end up running the same calibration as the 2.5" freeride

I still want to do one or 2 mountain trips so I think a guy needs a 2 or 2.5. Not sure the 2 would be very good in the mountains
