Back from our week in Castle PP. Had a blast, couldn't have picked a better week for weather to be up there. The new rig did the trip very nicely, my truck was very thankful for the easier pull, (but didn't comment
), the custom hitch worked flawlessly (thanks neilsledder, it was the envy of all my buds!), the paint job suffered a couple minor dings from the gravel, but all in in all we came away with nothing but great memories!
This was only our second trip there, and we covered a ton of ground.
Started with the North and South Lost creek trails (did the South last year in that area only and wanted to get up there again), North Kootney Pass same time. Great view!
Then we did the Dakota site for my B-Day. Did that one last year too, but it was raining and COLD! Much better this year!
We then did the Hillcrest Mountain loop. If you have never done it, highly recommend it! Do the Blade Summit climb, you wont regret it!
