OK you 2 STOP

That's all you 2 do is fight. If you cant keep it on topic and not against each other don't post to piss on another off
You need to back read this a little .. Where did I start anything . I have suggested everyone pay equal ! Read who is writing the idiotic insults on here ...
its not me !
The mods have been asked to do something about this fellow along time ago ... Over and over ...
please read who got this off topic... Again .
I did not provoke this , and have been doing a lot of work behind the scenes for this cause ... While my " friend " has made nothing but childish insults ...
Sp please , take the time to
be somewhat fair about this ..
Thankyou ..,

I don't understand why you two don't just block each other... I had an issue with a retard from Saskatchewan a while back, and blocked him, and haven't seen a single useless post of his since.

Sorry , but the only person I have ever blocked was one eyed willy ... & rightfully so.

It is an open forum and though I don't always agree with certain members , they have every right to voice their opinion ( and should), just as I have.

However , if the sole purpose is to put a like on every thread that disagrees with me , or an idiotic / childish comment rather than an apposing point of view , that is a different situation entirely .

I fully realize that it's my turn now , and there are many active members that went through this before me with him , some still are .
The mods have Been made aware of this several times & however the situation. Continues ....
It's time we look at then common denominator here ...AGAIN .

Of far greater importance is continuing on the support of this threads integrity & support to keep riding areas open ....rather than a laughable suggestion to ban all turbo ( mine off course) Machines .

In short I think all of us should pay a little extra to keep riding areas open & sustainable + have the freedom to choose and use the machine of our choice !

You know we can't win. We've addressed issues like this many times and some members accuse us of over managing the site, when we don't we are not managing it well enough.
From time to time we ban a member, we also send them warnings.
We try our best to keep things civil.

Thank You .. I understand that .
Please read the above posts though ... I just hate to be lumped into the same category ... Simply because I have defended my self .

As I have said , it's my turn now and I don't lose any sleep over it ... However to be fair a few of us have discussed this issue more than once prior ..
So to IMO it's not fair to blame me or any others now , when we had seen this over and over with many members ... Numerous time before .

That being said I except all the blame I get because I never once backed away too! So as I have said before I call it the way I see it .. And ultimately everyone has the right to there own opinion .
None the less , thanks for your candid response .

The "NO DEMOCRACY PARTY" has no clue how to manage anything, let alone money. I wonder if we should all be lumping our resources together to recall this bunch of lunatics.

Has the current government commented in any way towards these proposals ?
Most of the users are behind this and are only now suggesting similar suggestions . If this has already been put forth , how was it received & was it on the table in the recent closure decision ?

If memory serves me; 2 or 3 times we had the enabling legislation at the Leg with the PC's. Unfortunately never made it high enough on the pile.
The current government has had this from day1 and the only response is they are looking at it.
This can be a real pot of money and a lot of sticky fingers out there wanting to get their hands on it...
This is our (OHV) money and will maintain control of it.
So far only AOHVA has put a proposal forward.

Thx rzr, we appreciate that...
Now if we can get everyone to join a club and help us puff up.
I can't stress this enough; we need citizen action on the Castle now more than ever.
We need everyone to carry the load.

Here's some AOHVA history trivia: The beginnings of AOHVA was back in that 1992 timeframe with the implementation of the Castle Special Management Area.
We are back where we started and still loosing ground.

Just chatted with long time friend Troy D whom is a active member of BHAS "Big Horn ATV Society" as they will be at meeting in Blare-More along as my self if work crew can handle tasks with out me for a half day.

And I'll be joining the group BHAS asap.

Time to get our Ducks in a row sooner then later.
I hope the ASA "Alberta Snowmobile Association" has a heads up too as they have stakes in this too.

Let the Southern BC folks in on this since they are part of our mix being that the Crows Nest Pass is boarder line too their play ground.

All hands on deck all.

I'm all for the $100 a year for maintenance and in forcement. I don't have confidence our government will manage this properly. I would like to push the education thing as well. Maybe somthing like the boater exam. Users should pay for the maint and repair of trails. I vote yes for the user fee.

A few things on this note here:

ASA will be showing up at both the Bellvue and Lethbridge rallies, as well as the Calgary Snowmobile Club and Crow Snow Riders - executives and members both.

The ASA has been engaged behind the scenes, as the AOHVA has, for a very long time now.

Most recently, the ASA has been directly meeting with the Deputy Minister of AEP.

Much more has tried to be done, politically, by the ASA, but when the government Minister does not want to take a meeting with you, there is nothing you can do. But she sure likes meeting with Y2Y, CPAWS, AWA, and other environmentalist groups, so has not been talking with responsible groups on the motorized side of the equation at all, that I have heard.

The ASA has been involved in plans and working with other trail groups such as AOHVA and trailnet. In 2000 they made a presentation and it goes so far then dies. DOA with all trail users failed they continue. It takes ALL trail users to move this ahead even the non motorized user groups to get the full attention of the Government. To bet full bang for the governments buck it would have to have more involvement of trail associations. If we want them all to pay we need them all involved. Together we can do a better plan. Lets hope. Its just not motorized that need some organization out there

And the there is a new, non-motorized, Provincial-wide organization in the final stages being organized right now of all the non-motorized clubs, different than Trailnet. They are getting together, we had better.
