I like how all the Doo haters are constantly posting in the Doo threads. LennyR, Clode, Lund... Who are y'all trying to convince? Yourselves??
Lol :stir:
HATER, seriously Joel ? LOL
Let's put it in this perspective buddy. I don't know about you but at $15-18k for a new sled.....I F'N reserve the right to be a CRITIQUE on any sled. Like it or not.
IMO anyone that isn't of any brand out there is a fool and whats that new commercial i just saw the other day....ohya, maybe a few of you are just "settler" and will settle for what ever they'll give you. LOL
The industry keeps moving and improving because of biotchin azzes like me and other's that scrutinize the product and not because of the......OH THAT WORKS FOR ME, I LOVE MY SNOWMOBILE...I'M THE SETTLER MAN.
FYI, i'm a HATER of all the make's but love them all in their own way.
BTW that hater line that is used so often by those who have a hard time swallowing the facts....is old.

I don't think anyone hates doo. But like Lund says, if it wasn't for some of us who are able to admit short comings of any machine, you'd all still be riding around on carberated machines with bogey suspension.
It's also interesting how it's always everyone else who's the 'hater'... never the Dootards...
Is there a 174t3 vs 174Axys video? Jeez
Why Burandt? He doesn't even like the 174.
...look ma, a doo'r think's he's sidehilling because he's sliding his sled down the side of a hill...
Nice average pics though, really.
Yeah it can't really sidehill anything except downhill..lmao
lets see a couple pics of you
No need to get in a huff, no one says they can't. They can. But so can an Apex... so just do it better then others, or require less effort then others. The same can be said about Polaris requiring that extra little bit to prevent failure.
And pictures, honestly, I'm not a big picture guy. Ferniesnow has some, some video's to. I'm not nearly as talented to think everything I do is photo worthy. I'll leave that spotlight for others.
Oh no worries, just thought with the amount of chit you were talkin a few pages back you must have plenty of killer shots. haha JK kinda
My point is all the current sleds work great, the rider has more to do with it then anything. If you can't side hill VERY steep slopes with a XM, its not the sleds fault, trust me. The new G4 is even better. The AXY's is fine too, holds a steep sidehill better for sure. Falls apart though if you ride it hard, so thats why I would stay away personally.
No DooTard hating there, just the truth from a guy who rides a lot.
Cheers Dan
Honestly, we are saying the same thing. Except the g4 being better part, I havn't ridden one to say.
The XM will sidehill, even steep slopes, again, not disputing that. Hurkot pretty well says it best, it has tendencys to do 'doo' type things. Some guys might not notice it, or have an issue with that, and that's fine.
And thats exactly what I said about Polaris- they just don't last like the rest.
No **** talking friend, just a cold shot of honesty.
I'm still not sure why you don't ride a cat....
Ill also add, when I go ride some random sled, be it Doo or whatever else. It never feels that great cause its not my sled and its not setup for me.
Very hard to form a real opinion of a sled unless you own the thing and ride it all the time IMO. Demo ride or borrowing a friend sled isnt the same thing.
