OK, here's a comprehensive list of all airports in Canada with fuel prices:
Looks like the cheapest in Edmonton area is Cooking lake @ $1.25/L. Self serve w/ credit card, available 24/7. Use tail # of whatever plane you see sitting around there.
Cardinal aviation villeneuve airport 1.76/L as of today. 780-459-0952. Vegreville i was quoted roughly $1.60L today. He wasnt sure it if was $1.55 or $1.60. but nice to see prices arent too outrageous yet!
Silly question... I run a 2010 Nytro with the 180 MC Express. Should I be throwing in some AV gas or VP? Until this point I've only ran premium (Shell etc). Is it necessary to bump up the octane rating with my set-up? I was told not to bother....
For shimmed Nytro, I dont think I'd have an issue running 50/50 Av/Prem. I know guys running premium at 17 #'s boost. I'd throw a bit of Av in for insurance. A built motor, I'd stick with the proven insurance of C12. Just my $0.02
Has anybody bought any 100LL fuel around edmonton lately? if so how much did you buy? how much a litre was it? Did you need anything special to purchase it!?
