If SnowandMud.com and Zacs put on an avalanche course in Fort Saskatchewan on Sunday Feb 22,2009 would you go.

There's an 8 hr course in a classroom then a course in the mountains.

She will give us a group rate, it will be just under $300 for both.

I need to find out who is serious about going to the course. To see what the local interest is, so we can decide on the hotel.

Thanks for trying to organize the training!!
I am interested and may have 2 or 3 others as well. Where would the feild training take place and when? Also would like to know whats included? I wouldn't asume lodging, transportation, beacon, and other gear would be supplied but have to ask anyway to verify!

You do the class room stuff there, when and where do you do the outdoor stuff.....

took zacs course earlier this month and I'd have to say it was a fantastic course and the field session really brings the stuff learned in the classroom all together.Alot of long time sledders in class I took and all were suprised at the knowledge they gained.

Probably up to 6 of us could make it depending on work schedules. Same would go for field day, some of us wouldn't be able to make the date.

Depending on the group size, Sherwood Park might offer more options for conference rooms.
