Just read that Torque Masters are soon releasing an Aussie locker for the Canned Hams.
Looks like a great option at a fraction of the cost of a HALO.
For my fellow Can Am owners who are sick of the Crisco Lock this may be a great option.
I don't have any direct experience with Aussie lockers but from what I can see is that it always allows a wheel to spin faster than the diff (allowing turning, with ratcheting) but will never allow it to turn slower than the diff (traction) - or something like that.
Those who offroad jeeps or trucks may know of them but I think they are fairly new to the UTV/ATV world.
Coming for the new X3/Defender and the Mav/Outlander.
Looks to be fairly easy install, swap out spider/pins.
Hopefully this means bye bye Disco-Lok.

The price is better but I prefer a locker I can engage or disengage. That set up might suck in the tight woods. Peeps better set up and start buying them when they come out. The we can see if it is any good or not.

I ran the same thing (PowerTrax No-Slip) in the back of a Dodge for 10 years and I'm on the fence on whether I'd appreciate that in the front of my Commander. In 2wd it should allow tight turns in the woods until power is sent down the driveshaft, but in slippery conditions on uneven ground with knobby tires, who the hell knows what's going to happen.

Mechanical locker ie: detroit locker/powertrax/etc is going to want to go straight ahead under power. This Aussie locker sounds like same design.

No , each wheel has the ability to freewheel faster than the other , but never slower . So in a corner , one can speed up as necessary, in the videos, it works amazing .

In 2wd it has zero impact on steering & turning . Due to the fact there is zero torque input to it.....

hopefully they got something for a commander as well !!, anyone got idea of the price?
