Forget the ATV - go rent the Buggies. Look at Wide Open Excursions. You're renting the same buggies they run the Baja 1000 with. We did an all day lunch tour with them. Big $ but so worth it. Was just us and the guide and a chase truck following us on the highway. Absolute blast..

Just take the highway going North from Cabo to Tota Santos. There is 2 rental places on the Hwy about 8 Kms before Cerretose Beach, (which is an awesome surf beach). Lots of equipment to choose from and they run +/- 250 usd. Can rip up the beach then head into the hills. Its dusty !!

wide open excrutions is the place to go for a total experience. baja 1000 race ready buggies and a 2 time baja 1000 winning guide, try and catch him if you can. 200hp 22" travel 4 speed, 90mph. 2G a day but totally worth the experience.

Did this a few times and had a blast ... To ride beside the ocean with 30' waves crashing in is worth every penny ....!
lost a front wheel at about 4o mph in the sand ... Gotta love mecico ...lol

I don't remember the name exactly , there are 3 up north of Cabo ,40 mins or so ..
A dune buggy place and 2 quad outfits ...

We were there over xmas and went with Amigo Tours north of Cabo. It was ok but a bit expensive. We had a RZR 1000 to ride which is what I ride here at home. [mine is in a bit better shape. lol] We went up into the mountains and then rode the beach for a while. I can now say I rode the beach on the Pacific ocean in Mexico.

It was an absolute riot...
We had rzr races with two of the most miled out POS Rzrs I have seen , almost hit a brahma bull and rode the ocean beach line ....
Incredible fun !

Drove wot almost all day along the beach and sandy hills.
