Just wondering if anyone here uses storage for their toys and if so who are you using? I have my quad in a unheated garage right now and it's also pretty cramped because it's a single car garage. I was wanting to rent some heated storage and put the quad in there which would not only free up space but allow the snow to melt after a winter ride. Everyone wants quite a bit of money for heated spaces big enough for a quad because in most cases you have to get 10x10 that's for cars and I'm finding the average price is 175 - 200 a month. I think that's quite a bit of money just to store a quad. Maybe someone here has some space they could rent to me or maybe you have a great place with low prices you could recommend. Post what ya got! :d

You could do what I do. I just put mine in the garage after a ride and park my truck outside until the snow is gone, then park it in the non-heated garage.

Or at Home Depot they have some 30 dollar plug in heaters.. Just leave 'em by your quad overnight and call it good.

$175 - $200 might be lots, but you only need to rent it for three months of the year, your unheated garage will be ok the rest of the year....yes - no???

I parked my quad and trailer in my heated garage always, and after a winter ride theres way too much water on the floor.....pain in the ass!!!! then i have to try shovel the water out on the drive way, then it freezes, then I fall on my ass, lol.......

better to just car wash it after then park it.... its is nice haven your toys in plain sight though........every night when I go to sleep I have piece of mind knowing my stuff is where it should be!!!!!!!!!

I know the pain, drove me crazy seeing everything frozen after rides.
My old place the ice and snow just made water all over the garage.

I don't know any places around here.

If you could find another member willing to share the unit maybe you could put 2 quads in it and cut the cost in half

Thanks for the replies. Guess its true that you could just rent the storage in the winter months and then the garage for the summer. The idea to share is good if you can find someone hehe. I'm looking at a 10x10 heated tomorrow for 150$ a month which is close to home. Guess we will see what it looks like :)
