ATV Staging at Whitecourt/Windfall

I know that to get to the trails you take the hwy west out of whitecourt and then go to windfall, but where is the staging area? Is it before windfall or right at Windfall? I have never been but would like to head up in a couple of weeks. Any info would be great. Thanks.

the only place i have been there is at the old townsite. off of hwy 43 go till you hit a tee in the road. big gas plant on your left and then turn right a couple of miles or so and you will come to a very large open area. good luck as it is VERY wet up there this year.
