ATV Ban... where to ride in Alberta?

With the fire bans and ATV bans, where can you ride in Alberta? Just on Private land? Does the ATV ban include all Crown land in AB?

ATV's are banned even on private land if it's within the Forest Protection Area.

I think your right. The radio was saying public and private land. Everything I can find online says that's for fires only. Still good for ohv on private land.

Since when is the use of OHV's any part of indigenous traditions? Getting tired of being discriminated against while special interest groups are catered too.

And are still allowed the use of assault style rifles for hunting.

Just watched a video of a guy riding in Vega Alberta. He says most of the fire bans and ohh bans have been lifted in Alberta?? Went to the government website, didn't see info on this. Tried to call 2 phone numbers on gov. of Ab. website...... first phone number DIDN'T WORK. Second number I tried to talk to the operator and the line went dead. WTF

I downloaded the app, realized I didn’t go to school long enough to understand it.

There is a few ways to read the wildfires app. Either the map itself by adding the layer you want to look at, like any active OHV bans. The layers tab is on the bottom right. With the layers, you can customize how you want info displayed.

Or go to info and look at each individual forest protection area.

Edsons OHV restriction was lifted last night, I was happy to read that this morning.

I was not happy to see a new fire pop up today north of Marlboro this afternoon tho. You can tap on each of the fire icons and get info in that fire.
