AST 1 course in PG?

Some people have started to sign up, but we need more in order to make it happen!

Do you have any visuals/posters that I can print out and put up at local dealers/gear shops and try to get more coverage? If yes, PM me and I will get you to email them to me and I will do that for you. It would be great if this course could happen !!

I've distributed to a couple shops in town....I have posted on the PGSC Facebook page as well. I have talked to the communications director for PGSC and he is letting peeps know about the course. All we can do is hope peeps sign up.....

No problem! I am always trying to stress to sledding peeps the importance of taking this course. It is an eye opener for sure. SledMamma and I will work our magic and get this course up and going.....with the avy conditions right now across B.C. we need to get peeps educated on the snowpack, and my hope is this course will soon be MANDATORY....just like a boating course.

Well, we are going to make the call on the AST 1 course running this weekend or not tomorrow(wed). We need a couple more signed up! If you know of people that have been meaning to sign up, tell them now is the time or the course may not happen. We are open to those just wanting to attend the field day or classroom days as well.

Thanks to everyone who attended last weekends course in Prince George and helped spread the word. We will be planning an AST 1 course in PG for early next winter. We rode Torpy for the field day on Sunday and the snow was amazing!

Ryan, so glad to hear that you managed to do the field day at the Torpy! Next season we will definitely be down for the field day as a refresher if it's held at the Torpy, and I'm sure we can manage to round up a few others too

So glad that peeps are taking this course, props to all those that did and even bigger PROPS to HANGFIRE for taking a chance and holding it here. Glad you got to see our area, it's pretty special
