artic cats?

is it just me, or does artic cat suck? its +3 and it doesnt start, its +25 and it doesnt start, it has only been sitting for a month and now their is no way its going to start.

anyone else have issues with their cats?

Never been a problem for the 40 of them sitting in my yard. But thats just me.

sounds like a carb or gas problem, not familiar with cats at all, sounds like primary jetting problem, or could be no gas in float bowls from sitting. if you put a few cc's of gas in cylinder will it start, if it doe's you may have gas line air leak or fuel pump problem. usually not hard to track down. possibly new fuel lines may help. fuel injection, you are on your own.

Lots of things it could be. Spark is good? Likely a choke issue maybe, my cat doesn't like to be too cold or it needs a torch to pre-heat it before I can even pull it over. Choke seems to underfuel when its cold for some reason, maybe you have a similar issue when its hot?

fresh fuel and a pump primer...and any carb sled will start....a little maintainance goes a long way.... :d:d:d

yeah, seen you take the cats coat off before riding, so that is what you call a cold kitty, yes a torch may work better than lighter in the gas tank, :d
check the easy things first.

well its got new plugs, got good compression, its still an awesome sled but this is like the first problem i have had with it

what compression dose it have. has this been an ongoing problem orjust started to happen, has it been run a lot this year or just once or twice, as in dirty carb with the green slime in jets, you seem shy with the info.
