My buddie has a 09 M8 engine and a 2007 M1 computer I think he means "ECM" he is trying to get this to work. Can he send his computer away and have it reflashed with the 09 M8 programing? If so dose anyone know any place that dose this?

He has been looking for a used 09 M8 comp for a while and no luck, but he dose have this M1

Okay I guess no one knows about swaping ECM/ECU programs. How about dose anyone know where a guy could get a used ECM/ECU or one from salvage. I have been trying all the local sled wreakers in and around PG and I have tried as far away as edmonton. Any places that I have been able to locate on the net or through phone books. But I am up for any suggestions! Also if you have any contact info that would also help Thanks.

Make sure the number and if its a square or triangle symbol match with the one you need.

yep....you need to know if its a triangle, square or a circle...there should be a number on it as well. PM me the info...I bought a used one from a member on the site but also listed looking for one on KIJIJI and got a response....I could look and see if if I still have that email if you are still needing one....

Hey guys I was not able to open the snow west link I will try and reg there and see if it works. Is there anyway to figure out what # and symbol my friend needs. I belive he bought the engine of kijiji or something along those lines.

If he cant look off the old one i'm not sure how to tell.Probably look on the parts finder the year/make/model the sled was........
