I've been thinking a lot about giving sledding another chance too. KBrunlees was gonna ease me into it on flat land and help me develop some skills before I tried the mountains again. ...then I figured if God had to take one of my friends to keep me off a sled, I should probably listen.
I could take ya for a little loop Captain. Need some snow first!
That area offer's great mountain sledding, awesome area. Did you get up to 10K?[/
Yes. It was a nice area for sure.

There are a number of other areas to ride there also, it's a sledders paradise that area. Biggest issue can be weather. 10K is very similar to Eagles pass near Revelstoke but steeper. Glad you had a good time, its good to go there with someone knowing the area.

My brother lives in Merrit and rides the area a lot. Merrit snowmobile club has some nice areas to ride also.

He must ride "Honeymoon" then, great area also. I haven't rode there in a few year's now.
Next time your out there ask him to take you on the Coal mount ride, you will love that. Basically a valley ride, the trail whines through the valley's with awesome scenery, it takes all day round trip. You ride out to Coal mount into town and go for a burger at Coal mount inn, then ride back out.
