They are logging up in that area, with trucks hauling along the main access road. One should monitor the appropriate VHF channel to ensure no "close encounters". Also, you cannot drive your sled on plowed Forest Service Roads, ...so park your trucks/rigs accordingly.
Be considerate as these Loggers and truckers are earnig a living, beyond that, no one needs the adrenaline rush of facing a loaded logging truck on a snowy slippery narrow road...!!!
FYI, they are also logging up towards McCrae, same rules apply.
