Personally from my experience they will be slightly better than a 2 yr old aftermarket turbo sled but a 2 yr old turbo with no warranty will be 50 cents on the dollar.

Well if that's the case I hope the engine becomes mainstream, available in season and with a 4 year warranty.

This^^^^. Thats a tough pill to swallow when it comes to depreciation. I don’t understand why BRP didn’t give the turbo the same warranty as the NA sleds, they are both 165hp.

can you imagine trying to sell a 3yr old 850t for 12g's when it cost close to 25g tax in..

Don’t think it’s any worse then before for the turbo sleds .
Buy n/a sled ,turbo , clutching, suspension,shocks and then sell at 50 cents on the dollar .
Time will tell but companies will come out with better parts and repairs other then the rip off manufacturers.
High end machines always take the biggest hit .

Ask anyone who dumped money into a well built polaris pro turbo. I would love to get 12g’s for my $25000 turbo. Will end up being my 8 year olds first mountain sled. I really like the new doo turbo runs as clean as a poo turbo does, but spending mid $20 grand for sleds gets old. N/A sleds perform so good and put a challenge into riding areas that turbos just blow over.

I did. but these thing don't hold their value that great.

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! All those guys on Kijiji that say they invested 40 000 in a sled , and want 5000 that is a bad investment??? Well learn something new everyday! LOL

Very much agree, Sleds are not something you hide covered in a garage for 40 years like a corvette.
Seems like common sense doesnt it? But seem people need clearly better financial advise..

More comparable to a hooker.
You want the youngest model possible.
1 previous rider or less.
Don't ride for too long, before you find a new model.
And try not to lose the house riding them.

That's the thing, if these machines could be reliable for 15,000km then resale would be a non issue.
But I guess if that was a concern we would all be on Sidewinders running yammalube for the 100,000km warranty.
It might last 15000km, who knows. My T3 did. No one wants to buy one with 8000km on it though. Ride them till they die, then get a new one. Thats what I do....
Resale is a non-issue for me....
This will likely be correct if there is no warranty left.
N/A sleds sell for 60-65% of original value after two years.
This just how it is for any brand.
A person needs to acknowledge this going in.
Gets to be a higher priced game every year as we consumers make demands for better designed products.
The new market is getting unaffordable for many when a sled costs the same as a midsized car.

Ya well I brought this home today so looks like I am sitting on a Doo saddle again.
Never say never!
Needs some suspension adjustments, picks up the front pretty easily at half throttle.
