Hey Merc. If it makes you feel better grabbed mine last night from Riderz! Looks amazing. Another Buddy grabbed his from there Thursday and Rode Joss in Revy yesterday. He said the sled rips! He a also has a new 2020 expert NA 850 to compare it too. He said the T850 is super fun in the steep and deep!

Why the F do they keep telling me it’s going to be hard to have them ready for Tuesday, gonna snap my crayons! I only seen one out of the box at lunch yesterday and being pdi, same one you took pics of.

That was mine. The first truck just landed yesterday afternoon that’s the reason. They are PDIing these machines with their head technician in the store and not at the setup centre so it’s not as fast of a process.

Maxwell has it out for a trial this weekend, and when I was at Martins there was a few people loading them up and 3 more in the back being assembled to go out right away. There will be some people certainly commenting on what there like in the mountains up in the 6000-8000 range. And I’m sure other dealers have many out already. I will like to see the updates to this thread next week.
Maxwell will report that the clutching is spot on.

No, I have not had my first coffee yet. Lol

The sled is designed to make 165hp from sea level to 8000ft. Im at a altitude and doing the math, It should have 17hp more and felt more than my 850. Understand what im getting at???

Have a look at the primary and secondary intakes. Truthfully I didn’t know they were there till after I rode the sled. I didnt watch all the vids that came out, It a turbo cool whats there to understand. Lol

After I rode it I was puzzled, didn’t feel right, but I did like it. The sled works very well, its clean, but For a 4300rpm engaugement I wondered why it didn’t feel like it had more power, especially at -30 with all that cold air getting crammed down its mouth.

I will have one dont get me wrong.

chiscos slp twin pipes are supposed to make 17hp too, but he didn't seem all that impressed.

try the sled on the mountain and I think you'll like it.

I don't know how much you can figure out about a mountain sled by ditch banging it lol

Well I can tell you this. I have also had a clutch apart this one time in band camp. Even changed a couple springs and other clutchy stuff here and there. If you have deep enough snow to load the drivetrain up, and get on and off the throttle in that snow; you bet your wife’s panties you can tell alot about that sleds clutching. I know where he was running that sled and have ran my sled there as well. Backshift and trackspeed are top priority on a mountain sled and if you can’t backshift you have no chance of regaining trackspeed even with boost. Now how this new sled works under boost vs a stock 850 is gonna be interesting for sure. Can’t wait to hear the results after a couple weekends of guys getting them out there.

I'll take your word for it, I've never had a clutch apart or rode in deep pow before.

I wasn’t trying to be a dick man. Just saying that we can make some improvements and gains to our sleds clutching without having to do it in the mountains if the right snow conditions are available to us at home.
