Cat-
New sled delivery in August.
No hassle warranty.
Affordable replacement parts.
Easy to work on sled.

Brp-
A video.

Bahahahahahahaha!

I have seen several loads of Doo's heading West the last few weeks, first trailer was at least two weeks ago coming across 22x. Maybe they are just empty crates full of hopes and dreams?

Those crates contain “little or no” hope and a lot of broken dreams.
Haha

the cat is easy to work on because its an extremely outdated chassis and bulky. and you need to work on it constantly. my 2001 Zx was awesome to work on too LMAO

LOL, Your ZX was a tank , and anyone who owned one got good at working on them , necessity . Doo gonna do another chassis sticker update this year , radical change to G5 stickers ??

Curious, does warranty not start once you pick it up? Wouldn't you ideally want it the day before your first trip?

What’s the difference if your warranty runs out the day you picked it up in August or the day of your first ride in November. How much are you riding from August to November for it to matter?

I read on a business news feed a couple of weeks ago that the parent company of cat will only ship pre sold snow machines and that they are shutting down small "unprofitable" dealers. If the feed I read is accurate sounds like the price will be going up over the next few years. If that doesn't work they will probably just shut down sled production completely.

yeah it turns out war profiteering is better business than snowmobiles.

You must be drunk. I had an 2001 Summit 700 ZX 144" Sold it at 5600ish kms. All I ever did to that machine was put oil and gas in it along with one belt over the life that I owned it. Buddy that I rode with at the time bought a 2001 RMK 700. I don't even know what cat had at the time for comparison. ( Thats about how memorable they were). We rode everywere together, Lake, trails and mountains. Hands down the summit outperformed the RMK along while being a more enjoyable and refined machine to ride. From new the poo had a vibration in it until he sold it. Never got any better or worse. Cracks in the hood, belt guard and in some parts of the bulk head began to appear over time. With the same mileage on it everything was worn out on the poo and required some attention to make it reliable again. The Doo on the other hand was good to go, just like the day I got it.

Well I had a 2002 700 ZX, at the same time as I had a 700 RMK. I hated that ZX from day one! RMK ran circles around it. Neither one needed much wrenching, other than that POS plastic recoil on the ZX. I'd take the poo over the doo any day back then.

my zx was great. my rmks of that vintage were good too, but went through a few engines with those. one down engine on the zx covered by warranty. it was a 700 though, think they were better than the 800s
