Arctic Cat CV Boot Clamps

So, it looks like I have to remove a cv boot and reinsert an axle I accidentally knocked out of the cage. I have new clamps etc, but I was wondering if there's a way to reuse the factory clamps, without any special tools.
I had to replace the front u-joint, and was able to reuse the clamps on the prop shaft boots, but these cv boot clamps are a bit different. Any suggestions?

Use new clamps

just use new clamps.. they are cheap at any automotive parts store... I keep a drawer with spares

I had a set of hog ring plyers here, They work as good, maybe better than the Amazon ones you could by. Way faster and easier than using new clamps.
