(01/13/17) - Two snowmobile giants have just announced nationwide recalls.
Arctic Cat recalled almost 21,000 snowmobiles on Tuesday, after discovering an issue with the fuel tank.
The recall involves model years 2007, 2008, and 2009. They include: F models, Jaguar and Jaguar Z1 1100 models, Bearcat Z1 XT models, T500 and T570 models, TZ1 and TZ1 Turbo models, and Z1 1100 and Z1 1100 Turbo models. They were sold from June 2006 through December 2016.
Yesterday, Yamaha also announced they are recalling 400 snowmobiles due to a defect that can cause severe engine damage.
The recall is for the 2016 SR10 "SRViper" snowmobile. They were sold from August 2015 through April 2016.
