Not sure if anyone here has this bag (battery operated airbag) but there has been a notice from arcteryx that the minimum operating temperature is now -20 Celsius.

disappointing for people that bought this bag. But good on arcteryx for standing behind there product with a full refund and a $250 credit. Been using an arcteryx jacket and pants for the last 3 years and couldn't be happier with the product.

I'm starting to get a bit concerned about battery powered air bags, my Pieps jetforce bags has gotten very sluggish in turning off and turning back on once it gets cold! I'm not sure I trust it anymore! Sent it away for service last week!!

I'm definitely skeptical. I have used my compressed air driven airbag (snowpulse/mammut) in an avalanche at - 23. It worked flawlessly.

So could you feel it floating you to the top? Or what was it like?
